Bio

Jeff Roberts is finishing his tenth year as the Head Athletic Trainer and Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Ohlone College. Roberts is a Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and also possesses certifications in Functional Movement Screen (FMSC), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT). 

Roberts is a member in good standing of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association (FWATA), California Athletic Trainers’ Association (CATA) and California Community College Athletic Trainers’ Association (CCCATA). He currently serves as the Region 2 Director for the CATA and will transition to Treasurer for that organization in 2019. He is the CCCATA Coast Conference Representative and also serves as the CCCATA Baseball Sport Representative. He serves as a Mentor on the Exam Development Committee for the BOC. 

Roberts previously served as the Clinical Coordinator of Athletic Training at San José State University, Associate Head Athletic Trainer at Stanford University, and stints as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Arizona State University and Miami University (Ohio). He has served as an ATC Spotter for the National Football League since the inception of that position in 2011.
