Ohlone season ends with playoff loss at No. 1 Fresno; 5 earn All-Coast Conference honors

FRESNO – An impressive 2024 Ohlone College women's volleyball season came to a close with the No. 16-seeded Renegades' 3-0 loss at No. 1 Fresno City College in a second-round match of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.

Ohlone was making its first postseason appearance since 2021. The Renegades defeated No. 17 Monterey Peninsula College 3-1 (25-20, 25-18, 19-25, 25-16) in its first-round match before falling to Fresno by scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-11.

The Renegades close the season with a 23-8 overall record and finished third in the Coast Conference South Division at 7-3 under head coach Courtney Owyang-Paras.

ALL-COAST CONFERENCE SOUTH DIVISION AWARDS

Following the close of the regular season, five Renegades received All-Coast Conference South Division postseason honors:
