Bio

David Clark took over the program in 2018 and enters his fifth season at Ohlone College. He was named 2019 Coast Conference Coach of The Year in his first year at Ohlone.

Prior to Ohlone, he served three years as an assistant coach at College of San Mateo. While coaching at College of San Mateo, David was also the head coach at Oceana High School for five years. Clark left the program as the all-time winningest coach in school history (80-44). Clark was named PAL North Coach of the Year in 2016 after leading the Sharks (24-6) to their first division championship title in 25 years.

Several of Coach Clark's players have moved on to play in the NCAA, NAIA, and other collegiate institutions.

Prior to coaching at Oceana, David was an assistant coach for the San Francisco State Men’s Basketball team. Before transferring to SF State, he participated in the men’s basketball program while attending Santa Barbara City College.

David is currently pursuing a PhD in Sports Psychology. He earned a Master of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and Master of Science in Kinesiology from California Baptist University. He majored in Sports Broadcasting at San Francisco State University.

Clark is a Los Angeles native who attended Westchester High School.
