Bayoumi, Rees, Valdez highlight Marin Invite
The Ohlone College men's and women's swimming teams were back in action on March 8 for the Marin Invitational at College of Marin. Highlights from the meet include:

Moataz Bayoumi- 100 Fly
Moataz returned to his primary event during Ohlone's trip to College of Marin on Friday. In a highly contested race, Moataz finished 2nd overall and dropped 0.96 seconds from his time two weeks ago. The freshman's time of 55.02 puts him in the Top 10 swims in the 100 Fly in team history.

Teagan Rees- 200 Breast
Teagan Rees' breaststroke dominance was on full display in her first career 200 Breast swim. Finishing 6th overall, Teagan swam a 2:56.32, the fifth fastest Womens' 200 Breast in school history. Just the first of likely many record swims for the freshman.

Michelle Valdez swam her first career race with Ohlone on Friday and it was a good one. Michelle finished with a time of 32.79, dropping time from her entry and sneaking into the Top 10 of a highly competitive 50 Freestyle event. One of the many incredible races by Renegade swimmers on their trip to Marin.

Up next: The Renegades will host a three-way meet on Friday, March 15 that gets underway at 11 a.m.
