FREMONT – Jude Jennings had a huge game with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists but Ohlone College couldn't hold off No. 4 state-ranked Chabot College in the second half and suffered an 88-73 loss at home on Wednesday.
The Coast Conference North Division loss dropped the Renegades to 13-9 overall and 3-3 in division play.
Ohlone went into halftime all tied up at 37-37 against Coast North-leading Chabot. But the Gladiators pulled away in the second, outscoring the Renegades 51-36 over the final 20 minutes.
Nebiyu Teklemariam had a solid game with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Andrej Kuljic grabbed game-high 14 rebounds to go with 7 points while Adam Zalmai chipped in with 8 points.
Ohlone returns to action next Wednesday (Feb. 7) when the Renegades travel to Skyline College for a Coast Conference North Division game.
