MARIN – Jose Pineda and Erick Arias both scored first-half goals for Ohlone College in a 2-2 draw at College of Marin on Friday.
The Renegades fell behind early, 1-0 after Marin took the lead with a goal in the 20th minute. Pineda scored off the assist from Samuel Carrillo to tie up the game in the 40th minute. And two minutes later, Arias gave Ohlone its first lead when he scored in the 42nd.
The two squads battled in the second half, but Marin was able to score the game-winner in the 65th minute.
Mauricio Menjivar posted 3 saves in goal for Ohlone.
The Renegades moved to 1-1-1 overall and will next take on Feather River College at home in a non-conference game on Feb. 10.
