FREMONT – The Ohlone College men's soccer team held its own against No. 4 state-ranked Evergreen Valley College during the opening half. The Renegades allowed just one goal over the first 45 minutes but ultimately fell by a final score of 4-0 on Friday at home.
The Coast Conference loss dropped Ohlone to 1-6-2 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
Goalkeeper Mauricio Menjivar put in a solid effort and posted 5 saves.
The Renegades are back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 8) when they travel to Las Positas College for a Coast Conference game.
