Renegades Compete in Day 1 of Coast Conference Champs

 
San Mateo - The Ohlone Swim team kicks off the Coast Conference Championship at College of San Mateo on April 17th, 2025.
 
Medals Day 1 
Ohlone's Men team barely snagged the gold in the 200 freestyle relay, winning only by 0.02 of a second. The relay started off with Ryin Ruaboro with a split of 21.20, then followed by Ray Cillo with a split of 20.63, followed by Alex Torjyan with a split of 21.70, Moataz Bayoumi anchored with a split of 22.18. The relay's final time was 1:25.71. 
 
Ryin Ruaboro took gold in the 200 IM, winning by 4 seconds. His prelim time was 2:07.82 and his final time was 1:55.43. 
 
Ray Cillo won gold in the 50 freestyle with a final time of 21.23, out touching the second place swimmer by 0.2 of a second. 
 
Ohlone's men team won gold for the 400 Medley, winning by 6 whole seconds. Backstroke was swam by Ryin Ruaboro with a split of 51.09, breaststroke was swam by Ray Cillo with a split of 55.90, fly was swam by Moataz Bayoumi with a split of 53.14. Alex Torjyan anchored free with a split of 48.50. The relay's final time was 3:28.63.
 
Honorable Mention
Sophomore Arjan Behrooz and Freshman Anthony Tom made th consolation heat for the 500 free. Behrooz paced 12th with a final time of 5:37.60 and Tom placed 15th with a final time of 5:53.47.
 
Freshman Denton Phillips made the final heat for 200 IM, ranking 8th with a final time of 2:12.68.
 
Freshman swimmer Nina Caron made the consolation final for 50 free, placing 13th with a final time of 28.77.
 
Freshman swimmer Alex Torjyan made the consolation final for 50 free, with a final time of 22.46, placing 14th.
 
Renegades Compete in Day 2 of Coast Conference
 
San Mateo- The Ohlone swim team continues to drop time and medal at the Coast Conference championship at College of San Mateo on April 18th, 2025.
 
Medals
Ohlone Men's took gold in the 200 Medley relay with a final time of 1:33.74. First leg, backstroke, was swam by Ryin Ruaboro with a split of 23.53, second leg, breaststroke, was swam by Ray Cillo with a split of 24.68, third leg, fly, was swam by Moataz Bayoumi with a split of 23.55, and anchor was Alex Torjyan swimming free with a split of 21.80. 
 
Teagan Rees won bronze in the 100 breast with a final time of 1:14.74, dropping 3 seconds off her prelim time.
 
Ray Cillo won gold in the 100 breast with a final time of 56.12, out touching second place by 3 seconds.
 
Ryin Ruaboro won gold in the 100 back with a final time of 51.19, and was joined by fellow teammate Moataz Bayoumi, who got bronze in the event with a final time of 56.44, out-touching 4th place by 0.03 of a second. 
 
Honorable Mention
Freshman Denton Phillips and Sophomore Martin Laus made top 16 for 400 IM. Phillips was in the finals heat, and placed 6th with a final time of 4:58.19. Laus swam in the consolation heat, placing 11th with a final time of 5:49.07. 
 
Freshman Nina Caron swam the consolation heat for 100 fly. She placed 11th with a final time of 1:21.58. 
 
Sophomore Moataz Bayoumi and Freshman Ryan Prathnadi both swam in the final heat for 100 fly. Bayoumi placed 4th with a final time of 52.81 and Prathnadi placed 8th with a final time of 54.01. 
 
Freshman Alex Torjyan and Sophomore Arjan Behrooz made top 16 for the 200 free. Torjyan swam in the final heat, placing 8th with a final time of 2:01.58. Behrooz swam in the consolation final placing 16th with a final time of 1:59.49.
 
Freshman Angeline Ho swam in the consolation heat for 100 breast, placing 11th with a final time of 1:24.92. 
 
Sophomore Kyi Sitt Aung swam in the consolation heat for 100 breast, placing 12th with a final time of 1:10.67. 
 
Freshman Angeline Ho and Brooklyn Sisk made top 16 for the 100 back. Ho swam in the finals heat placing 8th with a final time of 1:11.81. Sisk swam in the consolation heat, placing 11th with a final time of 1:16.02. 
 
Freshman Anthony Tom swam in the consolation heat for the 100 back, placing 9th with a final time of 1:04.30. 
 
Ohlone's Men 800 free relay placed 4th with a final time of 8:06.94. The first leg was swam by Arjan Behrooz (SO), who's split was 2:00.79, second leg was swam by Denton Phillips (FR), who's split was 2:01.78. Kato Tien (SO) swam the third leg with a split of 2:08.70 and the relay was anchored by Ryan Prathnadi (FR) whose split was 1:55.67.
 
Renegades Finish Off Day 3 of Coast Conference Champs
 
San Mateo- The Ohlone swim team participates in the last day of Coast Conference Championships at College of San Mateo on April 19th, 2025.
 
Ohlone woman's team ended 8th of 12 teams with 179 points.
 
Ohlone men's team ended 4th of 10 team with 463 points.
 
Medals 
Ray Cillo won gold in the 100 IM with a final time of 52.59, securing gold with a second to spare before second place finished the race.
 
Ryin Ruaboro won gold in the 200 back with a final time of 1:59.54, winning by 3 seconds.
 
Ohlone Men's team snagged the gold medal for the 400 free relay, winning by 2 seconds. First leg was Ryin Ruaboro whose split was 46.01, followed by Ray Cillo with a split of 45.83, followed by Alex Torjyan with a split of 49.04, and anchored by Moataz Bayoumi who split 48.60. The relay had a final time of 3:09.48. 
 
Honorable Mention 
Sophomore Martin Laus swam in the consolation heat for the 1650 free. He placed 12th with a final time of 21:57.58, dropping 2 minutes off his seed time. 
 
Freshman Angeline Ho and Brooklyn Sisk made the consolation heat for the 200 back. Ho came in 10th place with a final time of 2:46.74. Sisk came in 13th place with a final time of 2:52.45. 
 
Freshman Anthony Tom swam in the final heat for 200 back, placing 7th with a final time of 2:22.65, dropping 2 seconds off his prelim time. 
 
There were several Ohlone men in the consolation heat for 100 free, Ryan Prathnadi placed 11th with a final time of 50.47, fellow teammate Moataz Bayoumi came in at 14th place with a final time of 56.63, and fellow Renegade Alex Torjyan came in at 15th place with a final time of 58.79. 
 
Sophomore Teagan Rees swam the final heat for 200 breast, placing 5th with a final time of 2:43.85, dropping 4 seconds off her prelim time.
 
Sophomore Kyi Sitt Aung swam the consolation heat for 200 breast, placing 13th with a final time of 2:41.23, dropping 5 seconds off his prelim time.
 
Sophomore Teagan Rees swam in the final heat for 200 fly, placing 6th with a final time of 2:55.76, dropping 7 seconds off her prelim time.
 
Freshman Ryan Prathnadi swam in the final heat for 200 fly, placing 6th with a final time of 2:11.95, dropping 8 seconds off his prelim time.
