Ohlone takes down rival Chabot 9-0

HAYWARD – The Ohlone College men's tennis team improved to 2-0 early in the 2025 season after an impressive 9-0 shutout at rival Chabot College on Tuesday.

The Renegades dominated the contest and did not surrender a set.

Ohlone set the tone early with doubles wins from Silas Chen and Bohdi Warden (No. 1), Julian Valdez and Rayden Widjaja (No. 2), and Lucas Gobaco and John Martinez (No. 3).

The Renegades singles lineup of Chen (No. 1), Warden (No. 2), Widjaja (No. 3), Valdez (No. 4), and Gobaco (No. 5) also cruised to straight-set victories.

Ohlone will look to keep the momentum going when the Renegades return to the court on Friday (Feb. 28) to host Cabrillo College at 2 p.m.
