APTOS – Erin Ta scored 19 points and Katelyn Tran added 18 points to help lead Ohlone College in a close 64-60 loss at Cabrillo College on Saturday.
The Coast Conference interdivision loss dropped the Renegades to 3-11 overall this season. The Renegades will look to turn things around when they begin Coast Conference North Division play on Jan. 12 at home against Skyline College. Opening tip is set for 5 p.m.
In Saturday's setback, the Renegades led 31-28 at halftime. But Cabrillo outscored Ohlone 19-12 in the third quarter which proved to be the difference.
Ohlone managed to outrebound the Seahawks by a 43-33 margin. Maizie Pimental led the Renegades with 11 boards and added 7 assists and 4 points.
