Renegades roll to third straight win, take two at DVC Classic

PLEASANT HILL – The Ohlone College women's volleyball team continues to show progress as the season moves on. On Friday, the Renegades won both their matches at the Diablo Valley College Viking Classic, sweeping host DVC while beating College of Marin 3-1.
The pair of victories pushed the Renegades' winning streak to three. They've won four of their last five and are now 6-4 overall.
Ohlone opened the event with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-16 win over Diablo Valley. That was followed by a 25-8, 25-19, 21-25, 25-14 triumph over Marin to close out the day.
Up next for Ohlone, the Renegades will play a pair of non-conference matches at the Cosumnes River College Tournament on Wednesday (Sep. 13). The Renegades are scheduled to face host CRC at 4 p.m. and Modesto Junior College at 6.
